Who doesn't like to party?

It's that time of year where we wacky humans have come up with all sorts of holidays!  Days for giving, days for taking, days for giving and taking, what's better than enjoying the holidays cutting up with friends, family and people you knew for years over the internet but just met at your annual halloween party.

Full Sail Photography has had the opportunity to be part of a couple parties already this season and had a blast meeting new friends.  By the looks of some of the photos taken they had a blast meeting us;)

It's not to late you know!  Give us a call today and book us for your next big event.  Yes!  We would Love to come to your Christmas Party!  Yes, thank you.  We would be happy to be part of your "Festivus for the rest of us" Party!  Bar Mitzvah?  Sure!  Thanksgiving?  We like big ol' turkey legs:)

We have yet found a place our photo booth is not welcome!  Nor a people who did not enjoy the squashed happiness of fitting 8 people in our booth!   Take for example these pirates we had an opportunity to sing jolly sea songs with!  The worst of the lot and yet they are all smiles in our booth!  Go on...give us a try!

Oh!  And if by chance your looking for something to do this Friday night Oct. 29, 2010?  Get dressed in your Halloween costume and come hang out with us at the Cameron Art Museum's 2010 Haunt!  Last year was a blast and I can't wait to see what they have in store for this year!

Jess James bedazzles Wilmington with her Style

Spent a fantastic night at 128 South in downtown Wilmington for yet another great party hosted by Jess James and her Style swapping fanatics:)   Huge storm clouds and thundering claps of lighting fell upon the city earlier that day but did not stop the attendance nor the energy of the crowd.

As always our Premiere Photo Booth was another huge success sending the ladies into a tivy over their favorite pictures.  Don't worry ladies if you want to view all the pictures head over to our online gallery and check them out here!  That is if you have the password;)  If you don't and want a taste of what the night involved check us out on Facebook.

Special call out to the Dessert Divas and their multimedia savy for capturing the night on video.  That's right the Desert Divas, known for their glamorous cakes, can also handle a video camera too!  Of course it would not be right if I didn't give a huge thank you to my lovely wife Vicky Eckenrode (errr...Janowski) if she hadn't help me out last night making everything run smooth:)

Looking for an extra something something for your next big event...Halloween is right around the corner and then all those crazy christmas parties....think about a photo booth!  It might be just what your looking for;)  Give us a call and say hello!

Check out the video created by the Dessert Divas and CapeFearTours! http://bit.ly/cc0Ugg!

Great Momentos from your party!

The great idea about the digital aspects of our photo booth is that we capture photos large enough to offer you a lifesize photo of yourself.  Our keepsake prints that we print on site are 4x6 or 5x7's, but because we capture everything digitally doesn't mean you have to walk away with just that 4x6 or 5x7.  In fact you can create any design or pattern of many different pictures that you like.  That is what I like about photo booth pictures.  One picture tells a little story, but add 3 or 4 pictures and the story gets better.  Add more and you start to see a person's character come through!

What a great gift it would be to give your new hubby a framed collage of fun portraits of yourself!

Or don't think of the photo booth as just for your big party.  Jump in the photo booth months before you big day and create an innovative wedding announcement and invitation.  Or even after all is said and done, but it's time to send out the thank you notes.  What a great way to say thank you by creating a collage of your favorites photo booth memories from your wedding and make it into a thank you card.

Remeber anything is possible with digital.  If you can think it, trust me, we can do it!

Tells us your stories!!!

We have tons of fun being a part of everyone's events.  However we are always busy working on the computers, printing the prints out in a timely manner and making sure everyone walks away from our fun photo booth happy and excited.  We want to hear from our patrons!  The people that have made our photo booth a great success around the Cape Fear Region.  What stories do you have, the pictures that were created, the friends you made.  Were we intricate in being a part of meeting your Mr./Mrs. Right?  Did we give you a momento from a reunion of old friends?  Were you having the worst day of all get out and did that one click make the sunshine again?  What?  Tell us!

Throw us a comment or a comment and a picture!  To much to ask for?  There is a poll on the right side of this blog that asks if you had a great time with us.  Click a button and let us know how much you like the booth!

Wedding at the Dudley Mansion

Full Sail Photography had the honor to be part of a GREAT wedding at the Dudley Mansion here in Wilmington, NC this past Memorial Day weekend:)  The wedding was just before sun down and they couldn't of picked a better time and place for their wedding.  The estate has a formal backyard garden/party area that was beautiful when the warm glow of the setting sun began to envelope it.

The whole setting kinda made me wish I had a seersucker suit, cigar and a mint julep, but unfortunately that had to wait, it was time to take some photos and make people laugh!  Over all, we shot over 700 photos and gave enough prints away to doubly satisfy every guest at the event.

I have to give Melissa Williamson props for being the wedding photographer at this wedding.  She seemed to always be in two places at one time!  Enjoyed meeting you Melissa and hope to work with you again!

The guests were fantastic!  They highly enjoyed the photo booth:)  Some more than others, but that is what it's all about.  Take as many photos as you want!  Take one with every friend and then put them together in the end to have a memory keeper!

The Photo Booth!

A lot of people are interested in how the photo booth will be set up and what comes with renting our fun booth.  It's dimensions are 31/2'wide x 5'long and 7' high.  It is nostalgic from the booths that use to pepper the boardwalks of beach towns and the malls of America.  You remember the ones.  You and your friends would run into them, make some funny faces, pay a nickel, and wait a minute while it spit out that strip of black & white pictures that always found their way back to your memory after 20 years of sitting in your dresser drawer.  Well this booth is as you remember it!  Small, cozy and private.  Roomy enough for two but big enough for (the record right now is 8) people.

With all this digital craziness now-a-days we supercharged our photo booth so not only it's as how you remember it from yesterdays, but it's got all the bells and whistle you could wish for with digital photography.  The pictures are a whopping 21 megapixels (big enough for lifesize photos if you wish) from a  professional Canon 5d MarkII camera and professional modeling light that offers great zainey portraits to be had.  We painted the backdrop a brilliant saturated red that adds warmth, liveliness and goes great with white dresses;)

That's just the booth.  You also get to great and funny photographers who help you choose the pictures you get to go home with.  With our photo booth you get to shoot as many pictures as you please and then the best ones you choose are printed for you to go home with!

I am not bragging, but I have yet gone to an event with this photo booth and not have a bad time!  It truly is a party maker:)  If you have any more questions and want to see more photos please visit our site at www.fullsailphotography.com or say hi on facebook at FullsailPhotography fan page.
