Mr. & Mrs. Schoonmaker I presume:)

Full Sail Photography had a blast being a part of the Fertig-Schoonmaker wedding at the Wilmington Convention Center.  Some have said that Aaron and Julie are the cutest couple ever and after being a part of their wedding...I have to agree.

From the fashionable finger food served prior to the reception to the "under the sea" ambiance of the convention center's light show, the wedding was a hit to all that attended.  Not to mention Full Sail Photography's Premiere Photo Booth that handed out over 100 wedding favor photo strips and logged over 800 photos of the fun bunch of guests, young and old, during Aaron and Julie's big day.

Here are a few of our favorite photos from Aaron & Julie's special night.

After much deliberation and laughing over some of the more funnier photo strips that were taken at the Schoonmaker reception.  We decided this one takes the cake....not literally, but it's darn funny!

Wilma Dash/Nights

What a way to kick start Cinco de Mayo than with Wilma's 5k Dash and Wilma Nights Health Fiesta at the Coastline Convention Center.  Over 500 Wilma readers participated in Thursday night's event put on by the most excellent staff of Wilma, Wilmington's Magazine for Women.

A huge shout out to co-editors Alison Satake and Nina Bays of Wilma for inviting Full Sail Photography's Premiere Photo Booth!   Our booth was such a huge success with Wilma readers that we almost ran out of everything except paper and time!

Congratulations to all of Wilmington's lady folks who participated in the Wilma 5k Dash!  They brought such great energy to the event and we were happy to put them on the cover of Wilma magazine....if just for the night;)

A Royal Wedding Reception in Wilmington

Wilmington's "Kate and William"
Kate and William might have danced the night away in Buckingham Palace, but Wilmington's fashionistas celebrated the royal nuptials Friday evening at The City Club in downtown Wilmington.

Full Sail Photography, Cape Fear's Premiere Photo Booth, was there to capture all the fun. We had a great time with the guests, and judging from the pictures so did they once they stepped in the booth.
Style Girl Jess James (center)

"Style Girl" Jess James put the reception soiree together, ensuring it'd be fun and fashionable night.

          The Three Divas
Kickstand Events decked out The City Club, which glowed with grand curtains lit by blue lights and candle-filled lanterns hanging from the trees.

Hairdos were festooned with feathers and flowers, many of the pieces coming from Jan Wutkowski's aMuse Artisanal Finery.

And since no party is complete without cake, The Three Divas delivered big time with a towering cake in Wedgwood Blue and topped by an icing replica of Princess Diana's tiara.

Truly, a night fit for royalty.

Old Ideas, New Generation

Full Sail Photography traveled from the Cape Fear Coast to North Carolina's mountain city, Asheville, this past weekend for a beautiful wedding reception at Waynesville Golf and Country Club.  The afternoon was sun-drenched tinted by the hues of the blue ridge mountains.  Golfers, who finished their early 18, sat on the back porch inquisitively watching Ian Curcio and I set up Full Sail's premiere photo booth on the back lawn of the country club.  Ian, who we hired to help, was just as inquisitive to see how the dismantled booth, which fits snug in the back of my pick-up truck, will assemble into a place where fun happens and smiles are created.

I was talking with an older gentleman after he had the pleasure of using our booth for some unique portraits of him and his wife of 30 years and had asked him if our booth resembles the old fashioned photo booths he remembered from his younger years.  His replied made me smile.  He said though our booth has a little more space inside to sit down the memories of sharing the cramped seat of the photo booth at the county fair with pretty girls came to his mind.  One of those pretty girls he exclaimed as he leaned over to my ear was his wife:)  Ohhh to have that photo strip of him and his wife back in the days and then the photo strip we offered them this past weekend...That would look nice in a frame!

A little girl of no more than 3 or 4 found the photo booth to be a place of joy and happiness, however she was not tall enough to reach down and tap the foot pedal from the seat within the photo booth herself.  Luckily, with our professional software, Full Sail Photography not only has the capability of allowing our guests an innumerable amount of photos to be taken by themselves via a foot pedal, but we can also trigger the camera from our own computer terminal, allowing for some surprises and antics to ensue.  In this case, it allowed a little girl to open up and dance upon the seat and free herself from restrain creating, in my opinion, some of the cutest photos to be taken:)

So get your tickets and come say cherri-o! as we hit Jess James Royal Wedding Reception and offer free prints to the attendees!

Jess James bedazzles Wilmington with her Style

Spent a fantastic night at 128 South in downtown Wilmington for yet another great party hosted by Jess James and her Style swapping fanatics:)   Huge storm clouds and thundering claps of lighting fell upon the city earlier that day but did not stop the attendance nor the energy of the crowd.

As always our Premiere Photo Booth was another huge success sending the ladies into a tivy over their favorite pictures.  Don't worry ladies if you want to view all the pictures head over to our online gallery and check them out here!  That is if you have the password;)  If you don't and want a taste of what the night involved check us out on Facebook.

Special call out to the Dessert Divas and their multimedia savy for capturing the night on video.  That's right the Desert Divas, known for their glamorous cakes, can also handle a video camera too!  Of course it would not be right if I didn't give a huge thank you to my lovely wife Vicky Eckenrode (errr...Janowski) if she hadn't help me out last night making everything run smooth:)

Looking for an extra something something for your next big event...Halloween is right around the corner and then all those crazy christmas parties....think about a photo booth!  It might be just what your looking for;)  Give us a call and say hello!
